Software delivery was scattered across tools that did not know about each other.
Planning in one system, Git in another, pipelines in a third, tests and incidents somewhere else. The links between them were maintained by hand in tickets, spreadsheets and memory. Audit evidence and impact analysis meant reconstructing a story after the fact.
- Model the delivery graph explicitly: requirement, story, commit, build, test, release, incident, each linked in both directions.
- Build one permission model, one audit trail and one search across every stage, instead of integrating seven tools.
- Design for four deployment models from the start, because enterprises do not all live in the same place.
- Keep it open: a versioned API, webhooks, SDKs and a CLI so the platform never becomes the bottleneck.
A generally available ALM and DevOps platform that we use to build itself, with traceability produced from the links between artefacts rather than assembled by hand. The full product story lives on the SourceFoundry site.
